Wajmah is nestled deep within the Hajar Mountains, where the journey is part of the experience. The final approach requires a 15-minute drive on a moderate to challenging off-road mountain track, accessible only by a high-clearance 4WD vehicle, with a steep ascent of approximately 500 metres over 4 kilometres. Upon reaching the village parking area, a 15-minute walk along traditional stone pathways, uneven terrain, and steps leads to Al Abri Home, immersing you in the authentic character and tranquillity of Wajmah from the moment you arrive.

If you are not travelling in a suitable vehicle, we are happy to arrange a transfer from the first parking area, where the off-road section begins. Simply let us know in advance when making your reservation.

Accessibility

Due to the heritage nature of the village and its mountainous setting, Wajmah is unfortunately not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or people of determination. The property features uneven pathways, numerous stone steps, steep gradients, and historic architecture that cannot be adapted without compromising its authenticity.
