The Village
That Remembers

The village of WAJMAH, hidden in Wadi Al Sahtan in the Wilayat of Rustaq, South Al Batinah, is one of the most remarkable and promising mountain villages in Oman. Built atop a 50-million-year-old landslide, it invites you into a world shaped by deep time-surrounded by Omani rocks that date back 750 to 800 million years. A true jewel of the Hajar Mountains, WAJMAH is perfectly situated in one of their most remote and untouched corners.
